One of My Etsy Shops Has 2 Step Authentication which no longer works

Etsy please help,

One of my Etsy Shops, not the one I am posting this on, I cannot log in to because of two step authentication. The authentication codes just stopped working. I still know my email and password and it gets me two the authentication page - i tried to log in to get help, but you even have to enter the authentication code to access Etsy help - how messed up is that. If I didn't have another account with etsy, I wouldn't be able to access in any support whatsoever - I think Etsy should think about how that works.

Can someone from Etsy please help me get in to my other Etsy shop. I want to turn off this two step authentication as it unreliable and has locked me out of my account.

I had the same problem I had to contact etsy throught the help channel they have to re set it for you so you can set it up again theyll ask a few questions about your shop and last payments etc to confim you are who you are.

When you say the codes stopped working what do you mean exactly? Are you receiving the codes on your phone (or however you have it set up)? But when you enter the code it won't authenticate and log you in?

Do you have the list of emergency codes that Etsy gave you when you set up the 2 factor authentication? Have you tried those?

There have been a lot of hacked accounts recently - 2 factor authentication protects you account against unauthorised access so it is advisable to have that feature turned on.

Have you contacted Etsy Support directly via your other (accessible) account?
