On time shipping stat % incorrect

An item I recently shipped could only be shipped once the weather warmed up (I didn't want it to freeze in transit) So the buyer and I worked together to get the item sent out at a good time. Even though I was in contact with the buyer and she was more than happy to work with me and wait for the weather to warm up, it affected my on-time shipping stat. Is there a way to dispute this?

No, not if you did not extend the ship by date.

@HollyBeezCreationz: "... she was more than happy to work with me and wait ..." Did you also update the scheduled to ship by date on the actual order? If not, and you shipped after that ship by date there is nothing to dispute or that you can now do to change it. https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015588087-How-to-Set-Processing-Times-and-Ship-By-Dates?s...

Re: On time shipping stat % incorrect

I've worked with buyers to ship per their schedules and I've done both recently.

Option 1 is to update the ship by date. I add contingency when I do this since it can only be done once.

Option 2 is to cancel the order and have them order closer to when they want it shipped.

But bottom line, I think working with the buyer takes precedence over getting the star seller badge. You did the right thing. Hopefully next time you can work with the buyer w/o taking a ding for late shipping.
