I just opened my shop after much trouble. Now my ship is on vacation. Why? Need a reason to fix it. Going in circles trying to open a support case. How do I do that? Wow, not boding well for me. Can someone help me?

If Etsy has put your new shop on forced vacation, something is causing a red flag. Could be your bank account, your IP address, your credit card. Unfortunately, you will need to work it out with Etsy, as we are all sellers here and can't help, other than to offer suggestions.
