I was out of town and had to use my phone to check the tracking progress on some orders. And for some reason I decided to check " In transit" and "Out for Delivery". And found some that were not marked Delivered I thought that odd but since I seldom use the phone app, thought it was just a glitch in the app.
When I got home was using my desk top computer I decided to check again. To my surprise I found over 25 orders marked either "out for delivery" or " In transit" - these were going back 2017.
I am pretty sure my customers got their product, or I would have heard about it.
But why is this happening???
The post office recycles tracking numbers after a certain amount of time which I believe is around 6 month or a year or so. If the customer has not reached out to you, I would not worry about it especially if they left you a good review. You may even notice that the "new tracking update" that you see is heading to a different location than what you have on the order for your customers.
