I've had this listing up since 2018ish, always up, i'm assuming since they changed the new way to list it keep providing an error message everytime i try to relist on a PC, its the 1st time i accidently let it sell out for close to a year, i have managed to renew it on the app without any issues, but i'm a bit concerned that if it happens again one of my best sellers may vanish

Yes that is exactly what i tried, as soon as i hit renew i get Error, if this continues please contact support, works fine on the etsy app
have you still got an old shipping profile, with "other", or something else that's changed?
Nope shipping profiles are set to royal mail, never used other either, as i said it works on the app but not on the computer to update it, i wonder if they didn't check old listings from that far back
I've been selling my hedgehog tea cosy since 2014,
I've updated the photo, as wool has gone end of line, and been replaced with slightly different wool,
but it's the same listing, and renews from the "sold out" with no problem
I don't have a smartphone, I do everything on the PC.
The one that didn't work, was the one that still had "other"

others have had problems when they've tried to change quantity, or edit, when renewing, but just renewing has worked for most
.... did you leave the quantity at 1?
I tried several different options including listing at 1 and changing the quanitiy too, nothing worked, but looks like by the other person commenting other are having the issue, maybe its due to the varations on the listing or the personalisation box if you don't have those, could be any number of things, as i said it works on my phone so its fine for now
I tried to do that last night ... from 2 different listings which had sold out earlier this year. Got the error message with both attempts and ended up going back to the "old" listing form. I was using the new listing form for a few days but I'm going back to the old one. Again.
@PracticalPrintsByLee There have been several posts about this issue - I think I saw one thread with a reply by Admin that Etsy is aware of the issue, and are looking into a fix.
I encountered this too - what worked for me was to go to the Sold out page of listings, and using the grey gear icon to renew. Then I could click on the active listing and edit the quantity.
I have the same issue, can't do it on the PC but can on the app. Hope this isnt a way to get us using the app, I heard they want to push people to use the app more.
I won't list on the app. Although if Etsy wants to buy me a tablet (i.e., a bigger screen & keyboard), I'd try it.

@PrairiePrimitives I'm with you, I hate doing things on the phone. I like a nice big screen of my PC.
I will renew on the app if I must, but I am not doing listing creation on the app.
@BlaqKat Probably another example of the ones who are deciding how it must be done, never actually DOING the listings. Many companies have gone under or close to it from this type of thing. Big or small, they can all fall with bad management.
