Not getting e-mail notices for some sales

Is anyone else having this problem? These last couple of days I've only received a notice for some of my sales. They all show up in my dashboard and orders pages, but not getting the e-mail notices for each one. They aren't delayed, and not in my spam. I had a sale early this morning and haven't received an e-mail notice. Can't tell what time it was ordered but it was before I woke up at 6am, that was 4 hours ago.

sometimes emails get hung up in servers. I never rely on emails for a sale notification.

Sometimes emails get caught in overactive spam filters, or get delayed or lost in cyberspace.  Don't rely on email to notify you of a sale.  I check my shop and website daily for sales because of this.

Thanks for responding... this hasn't happened before, that's why I'm asking. I check my shop (but my husband who isn't very tech savy, relies on the e-mails when I'm out or busy :).

It's not a good idea to rely on emails.  They can get lost.  I use emails only as back up and I never answer emails either.  I always go into my shop to answer messages.  

If you trust your husband with your password, show him how to get in and check.  However, I am of the group that believe in not sharing passwords with anyone including significant others.
