I just had a sale (ten minutes ago) and have still not received email from Etsy. No changes to my email or account have been made.
This not only has been happening to me since last Oct (so almost a year now), today I did not get one for a purchase. Nowadays I just go with the flow and say, Oh, well.
Just be sure to check your shop "orders" link every day

Hi, Congratulations on your sale! Are you by chance using the App? It may have nothing to do with it, but I've been receiving an email re: every sale since I reopened (Tuesday). (desktop computer, Chrome). Even so, I check in all the time anyway, and I've have seen others post that they don't receive an email when they make a sale. I really don't know the reason why.
I only use a desktop, Firefox usually but sometimes Chrome and on neither browser have I been receiving emails for transactions--apparently now neither sales OR purchases.
@ThePurplePuppy: Which browser or app you use should have nothing to do with receiving the appropriate eMail notifications.
Presuming that the eMail was sent, many bad things can happen after the eMail has left Etsy's eMail server. Your eMail provider or Internet Service Provider or even a relaying server could be blocking the eMail in error and it never even makes it to your eMail client much less your SPAM or junk folder.
If you are not receiving any Etsy eMails, you may want to check that your eMail address is still confirmed. You can do that it your Account Settings.
Again presuming that the eMail was sent and depending on where in the process the eMail was blocked and who your eMail provider is, sometimes whitelisting the sending domain can help.
OH--I receive all their "junk" mail that Etsy sends--just not the important ones! LOL

For all the years that I have been here, I have received all the emails I signed up for (transactions, deposits, covos, support, et al.) Then about two years ago the emails became sporadic and eventually went to nothing. About 6 weeks ago I started getting the gift guides and a few other kinds.
That is exactly how it has progressed for me. Somehow, I do not think this is due to my email provider.

Quite a while ago, emails about sales became sporadic for me. But these last few months I haven’t gotten any emails. I just check my Etsy shop every day. No problem.
No problem with emails from Etsy, but then I own the domain, and have control of it with spam/whitelisting, etc. Maybe your email provider has junked the emails as spam, try (if you can or are allowed by your email host) whitelisting Etsy email addresses.
