I know I've seen this in other shops, and I know I've seen it get resolved, I just don't recall if the shops had to/could do anything besides wait for it to correct itself.
I also don't know if it's related or just a coincidence, but yesterday I vended at an event and realized when I got there I hadn't removed any items I was bringing with me, so to avoid duplicate sales of OOAK items I just threw my whole shop in vacation mode real quick. I took it out of vacation today and went through and removed items that sold at the event. I was just checking my shopfront and I'm getting where my numbers don't line up.
For example, in my dashboard I have 307 active listings, but my shopfront says I have 145. However, with 9 pages, I believe everything is actually being shown, just the numbers aren't aligning. If you count up the numbers showing it each category, it adds up to the 307.
But when you click on a category, then the listings are hiding.
For example in the Jewelry category the number on my shopfront is 66, but when you click on it it only displays 11 listings.
So if you just scroll through the pages, the listings are there, they're just not all showing when you click on a category.
Basically, nothing is lining up. Again, I know I've seen other shops have this issue before, and I know I've seen where it got corrected, just seeing if anyone that's dealt with it recalls if they needed to contact support or if it's just part of coming out of vacation mode (after only about 30 hours, I think it's been a couple hours since I went live again) and it will resolve itself.
@audreytherese
All I see in your shop is 145 listings showing under "all".
If I count up all the items in each category, I end up with 307.
If I click on the categories, you're right the #'s aren't there. Some categories you show items but when I click on them, I get "no results".
Others only show 1 item but you have quite a few.
Seems I've heard that to solve this, put your shop back on vacay (not sure for how long, a few mins or longer) then turn it off again.

That seemed to fix it.
Thanks!
@audreytherese You're very welcome.
I just found a thread from a year or so ago that mentioned doing this.
I thought I remembered that was what worked but wasn't 100% sure.
That just worked for me. Thank you!
@audreytherese
Whoops something still isn't right. I'm seeing 307 items total but when I click on some categories, the items shown is not the same.
One category (rolling and ashtrays) you have 3 items and if I click it, it comes up "no results?"Now I'm seeing these 3 items.Just found another category (Hoodies) you have 4 items in and only 1 shows up.Finally seeing all 4 items.
Finding more. Jewelry shows 66, only seeing 36.
Wall hangings show 53 but only seeing 36.
Still only seeing 36 on these 2 categories.
ETA: maybe it's takes a little time for all to show up, hopefully that's it.
Ya, at first not all the categories were full, but every time I refresh they fill in a little more. At least it seems like it's getting there, even if a little slowly. Before it hadn't changed for hours after switching vacation mode off.
I also see some categories that are supposed to have 4 listings but only 1 shows up in each.
This OP had the same problem and she did the on/off vacation trick also and thought it worked completely, but then noticed that the correct # of listings were not actually showing. She originally did it on the app, but it was fixed by doing it on her computer.
Solved: Re: Sections not showing all items assigned? - Welcome to the Etsy Community
Are you trying to fix the problem on the app, @audreytherese ?
No, I originally put it on vacation through the app (because I realized everything was still live while at the event), but I've done everything else from the computer.
It seems like the listings were just trickling back in. I'm pretty sure it's good now....
Yes, there was another OP I found who said some of her listings came back right away and others took anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to finally show up.
Gave you something to do on a Sunday night tho, right?!
The sections I originally checked all seem to be back now.
@audreytherese if they don't all come back, the old-time solution to missing or unindexed listings after coming back from Vaca is to deactivate everything, then reactivate.
Oh, I sure hope I don't have to do that.... just because I have so many items in my deactivated folder right now (mainly items that I sold in person), it would be a nightmare trying to sift through what I still have and what I don't.
OP, at this hour, your shop now shows 307 listings. I didn't check if section totals added up correctly. Congratulations on a great show.
