No notifications on iphone with sell with etsy app

Hi,

I am not receiving any notifications (screen notifications and the cha ching notification) on the Sell with Etsy app on my Iphone. I have already tried restarting my phone and have reinstalled it.

Can anyone offer any additional help or guidance? I am soo frustrated =/

@MommymadePrints  I had this same problem a couple weeks ago when I upgraded my phone.  I had to eventually ask my son to sort it for me, so I hope I have this correct!  Go to Settings and then scroll down to the Sell on Etsy App. Open Notifications and toggle Allow Notifications on.  Tick and toggle everything else to on.  If it still doesn't cha ching, just toggle the 'sounds' off and then on again.  I hope this helps.

Recently changed my phone and the same is happening to me but I’ve tried everything listed above. I’ve almost missed several orders because I didn’t get the notifications.

I've had the exact issue with my last 5 orders. No cha Ching. Same with receiving messages. Must be a glitch. again.

Same issue!  I have tried everything under the sun and still not receiving notifications on my iPhone.  This is VERY frustrating.  Where’s the fix??

the issue lies with Etsy. THEY need to fix it. We are all experiencing the same issue with lack of notifications and have all tried the usual fixes to no avail. it's clearly on their end. how we get them to acknowledge and fix it is the bigger problem!

Same issue. Absolutely no notifications. Ready to shut down my entire shop with how frustrated I feel. I have a VERY short production time, and this makes that impossible unless I sit at my computer and refresh every minute. Please don't make me throw in the towel with my new shop, Etsy. I need a solution. Please!!

Same … got a new iPhone 13pro max… notifications are not arriving… I have to sign out and sign in to see updated sales… I’ve tried everything… including contacting Etsy….no help…

@OodlesOfOrnaments  :  There are several threads about this issue (and many others) and all seem to be related to how and when the Etsy Apps synchronize or don't - that is why it sometimes works to log out and then log back in or delete and reinstall the app. These actions appear to force the app to get fresh data. The consensus seems to be to manage messages and orders via a browser not the app.

Hi my last 3 sales didn’t cha-Ching for me either it’s only when I checked my email did I see that I had gotten a sale.. maybe a glitch?

This is a problem with iPhones. iPhone doesn’t recognise this app has notifications option. When it’s coming to android devices, works perfectly fine.

i have the same problem i try everything when i get in the notification i get an empty screen without the option to mark the notification

I'm having the same problem the last couple of days.  No banner on my screen of a sale and no cha-ching.  This is my 3rd iPhone and first time with this problem.
