New shop put into vacation mode by Etsy

Hello! 

Looking for some advice. I opened a new Etsy shop this week to sell digital downloads. As soon as I opened it, Etsy put my shop on vacaction mode "to help me manage my current orders". But I don't have any orders. Haven't made a sale yet. 

Not sure what to do or how to contact Etsy.

Any advice appreciated. Thank you!

Did they send you an email? Check your spam folder too. It might be an ID thing.

How do I email etsy? I've only ever found their contact form, and the option to chose from are very limited. The closest option is "Appeal a Permanently Suspended Account". 

Also, can you please clarify what you mean by "ID thing"?

They might have sent you an email requesting your ID. They’ve been putting new shops on vacation if they don’t get that information.

Hi, I have the same problem. I did receive an email to provide ID (which I had already done on opening Etsy shop). The next problem is that even after uploading 2 clear photos of my ID, I am not able to press submit as this isn’t highlighted. I’m completely stuck and don’t know what else to do! Someone please help

This problem is leading to a payment from a buyer (my first sale!!) to be stuck somewhere…
