New item notifications not showing to followers

It looks like my shop followers are not receiving new item notifications anymore. Freshly listed items don’t get any views at all. My shop has over 17000 followers, but no one sees what I put on sale.

I asked a friend of mine who is following my shop if she receives any notifications about my new listings and she said there was one several weeks ago. But I do list 3-5 new items every day.

I am a seller for 12 years here, have made over 8500 sales, built a great community of followers and return customers, so it is an important tool for me that seems to be broken now. Would appreciate your help here!

Me too! I was just about to post my own complaint about this. I've had other people that follow my shop check notifications/updates and about 80% of the time, my new listings are not shown at all. Personally, I use my notifications to look at new items from other shops, so it's frustrating to think mine aren't being shown, but why? Is it just random? I recently spent a long time listing a new collection and not a single one popped up in notifications. I feel like my shop is being 'hidden'. I really hope Etsy fixes this soon for those of us affected.

Just wanted to chime in and say I'm seeing this too. The vast majority of what I post doesn't get pushed out to my over 6,000 shop followers. If this is some sort of bug in Etsy this seems like a pretty big issue since it could potentially be a lot of lost sales for my shop and revenue for Etsy as well.

This is also happening for my shop. Sometimes they show, but most of the time they don't

Happening in my shop as well. I usually get notifications when someone I follow adds new items. Not anymore. So I have to assume that people are not getting the new pieces that I add as well. I have had my shop for 13 years and June was the first month that I did not have a single sale. Have no idea what is going on.

Same thing for me. In June I had a big slow down in views and orders, more then normal. New items I listed had no activity what so ever. I blame the glitchy etsy site.

Interesting! I wasn’t aware of this but makes sense.. my main shop has 15k followers, I don’t add new things all that often but whenever I do, I always see a flurry of interest.. last week I listed 3 new items and nothing, now I know why! What’s the benefit of having shop followers if they’re not advised of these things?
