Bringing to the attention of anyone that is an Etsy Plus subscriber and received 15 free listings each month. I brought this issue to the attention of Etsy several months ago but they are failing to do anything about it. They told me at that time that this was a glitch and that their technical team is working on it. I had another custom listing take place on 1/15/23. Here's the problem. Whenever a custom/private listing is created because the listing does not fall within one of your other listings, you are not receiving a listing credit from one of the 15 free listings per month that are available. You are not receiving a credit at all for any custom/private listings that are due you if you still have listing credits available to take. This is just wrong! A listing is a listing rather it is custom, private, new, or renewal. These listing credits should be used if they are available. Custom listings should not be treated any differently than any other listing created and if there are available credits available, then a shop should it receive it.
I spoke to a rep "[REMOVED]" today and here's a snip it from our conversation regarding policy with Etsy about custom/private listings. This needs to change immediately!

@ConniesCrochets Unfortunately we are sellers in the forums and unable to help you.
I brought this out in the open because it could be also happening to other sellers like me. Prior to September 2022, when I created a custom listing, I received the credit. This is something that recently has changed and I don't recall ever receiving any notification regarding the decision.
Custom listings are not published in the shop so that may be why. The credits are only for listings published for the shop and now only for new listings.
If they charge for a listing, it's a listing regardless of how you create it.
I am an Etsy Plus user and do many custom orders. The thing with a custom order is that it isn't charged on listing like other new listings. You only pay for it when the buyer purchases it, so it isn't going through your shop as a normal listing would, and therefore may not pick up on the free listings available.
I will add that despite the new wording next to the number of freebies on the listing page, which indicates they are only available for new listings, I use most of my freebies for renewals with no issue.
Amazing! That is really all I can say.
