New iphone will not connect to Etsy

I need to contact etsy immediately. Please help.

I received my new iPhone yesterday. When I tried to put in my email and password to connect to my account, all I got was a message that I would receive a phone call with a security code in 60 seconds. Well, I repeated that process many times with the same result and NO call came with a security code. Out of desperation I changed my password. Now I not only can't get into my phone, but my iPad is having the same issue. 

Question:

I have an account username and an email address. When it asks for your email, does it really want the user name? I have tried both but neither works. 

Etsy makes it very difficult to resolve these important issues in real time. I literally cannot operate my shop without my iPhone and iPad. I rely on both to contact my customers in a timely manner.

Fortunately I was able to get my laptop going, but that's it. I need to be away from my laptop frequently and can't check messages every 5 minutes. There has to be a way to resolve pressing issues without jumping through impossible hoops.
