New app messaging.

Hi there,

I use the old app every day. Now with it being replaced with the new app, I have a huge amount of trouble replying to customers in messages. It is so bad!

Every change I want to make to a message, when I tap on it, the whole screen jumps. It's almost impossible to get the cursor to go to the right place. 

I have reported this with feedback. A few months ago. It's not been fixed and is just the same. 

If we must use the new app, we need it working smoothly and reliably!  I am concerned it will be another one of those things that etsy just leaves for a couple of years and never fixes. 

Is anyone else having the same issue?

There are so many issues with the new app, I’m dreading being forced to use it after the old one disappears.

It's horrible. I wish etsy would listen to our feedback instead of just ignoring it! I rely on the app. Now I will have to log in via the web every time I want to send a message. What is the point of an app if it wont work?

OMG! I’m on my last nerve with this. It’s impossible to edit a message I’ve typed out already. I’m still using the old app for this reason alone. The screen jumps all over the place and I can’t select middle bodies or text or move the cursor around. Yikes.

Yea. I wish Etsy would stop releasing apps and updates that are not perfect yet. And listening to the  feedback! It's so annoying! I still use the old app for the same reason.

I'm on my computer and I'm getting the "Oops Something went wrong loading your message".

Yes, It's so frustrating and a waste of time trying to message customers on the new app. Just like you said, the entire screen jumps up and down and i feel like I'm try to catch a jumping rabbit. Then it freezes and I have to start all over. Been going back and forth with old app which is much better. I can't highlight and copy order numbers, listing links, etc. from new app so I need to write down the number manually because I do not want to sit there trying to memorize it because when I jump back to my message page, I can't see it anymore. I have to double check to make sure I typed it correctly now instead of just copying and pasting which works on the old app. I have to open my web browser to copy listing links because they are no longer available to copy from the new app. Hopefully they will fix before May when the old app is no longer available.
