So a few weeks/a month ago my shop manager formatting changed with regards to how sales receipts showed. Now there are 3 tabs (Order details | Delivery info | Earnings) instead of the orginal all the info in one place.
In this new format it seems a LOT of the pertinent information is not available. It's hard to find the tracking information and IMPOSSIBLE when a package has already been delivered. Instead I have to hunt all over for the tracking number (always seems to be in a different place and in a couple of cases I haven't been able to find it at all and had to ask the customer to send it to me from their receipt). Then copy and paste that and go to the USPS website to track packages. I cannot see basic information such as the day it shipped or the day a refund was issued. This wasn't a huge deal until today as most refunds were simply for overcharges on shipping. Today, however, Etsy apparently issued a refund without my knowledge or consent for a package that was lost in transit. I was actually packaging up replacements for the customer when a notice popped up that the order had been refunded. I didn't even know! I cannot see any information about how/why it was refunded or that any receipt for the refund was sent to the customer. I don't understand!
Not only all that, but it's been a nightmare with tracking international orders and being able to provide ANY information for my customers and the "message to buyer" part of the refund process no longer actually sends that message to the buyer. Instead I get emails wondering why they have received a partial refund and have to track down the customer's order - usually a totally different name from the email so this involves several additional steps - only to find it was a refund for shipping overcharges and they should have gotten the notice I typed up when it was issued. All of this is buggy and is adding significantly to my workload.
Anyone else having troubles with this since the change?
Are you using the app, browser on mobile device or full desktop/laptop site? There is currently an issue with mobile view menu covering the tracking info page.
