New Listing Form Bug - Variations Section Unlinking Photos

Whenever I go to edit a listing in the manage variations section, the new listing form unlinks all of my photos from their previous variations.  For example, if I am just adding additional available sizes, the section that links colors (totally unrelated to the sizing I am adjusting) automatically unlinks my previous photos to the corresponding colors.  Aghhhhh - makes me not want to edit anything.  Please fix this

This seems to be new.  I would strongly urge either contacting customer support and forwarding it to team working on programming this new tool.  Or, repost this in the technical issues in the forums.  Etsy does scan this area.

I just listed and now cannot change the section...ugh when are they going to fix this form!!
