I emailed weeks ago regarding an error code appearing on the new format and no one from Etsy has responded to me. I have YET to use the new format to renew a listing because of the error code. And it still remains impossible to email Etsy directly for a response.
Still cannot renew a listing on the new format either. When I spoke to chat they just said to use the old format for now. Hope they get it fixed before the old goes away!
In the blue banner on the new listing format there is a place to click to return to the old one. I was having problems renewing and ask for a phone call back. They did call me back and couldn't figure out why I couldn't renew, list or anything. They finally told me to go back to the old format for now, that there was a glitch of some kind. Right then I couldn't renew on the old either, however later that night was able to get the old one to work.
OMG this is driving me crazy! Can't use this stupid new form today! Hopefully the old one will work!
Reverting to the old form won't work after next week, unless Etsy decides to extend it.
Try renewing from the Listings Manager thumbnail using the grey gear icon. Then edit the active listing, if needed.
Etsy is aware this is an issue, according to some other threads I've seen.

I used the new listing page a few times today. It works if you go into it from the "Orders" page and renew something that has sold out.
