Mystery notification

I have a random 1  on the little shop icon. It doesn't come up anywhere else in the dashboard. No emails or messages. And no sales pending or canceled.  All cookies cleared, checked on an updated browser I'm stumped

Do you have some sort of notification on your dashboard?  On the app I  have had a 1 on messages for about 2 months and zero new messages. Just stuck there.

I have had that a couple of times.  You are part of an experiment.  It will go away in time.

Check your old communications- I had one too- turns out it was a previous conversation by a buyer; she used the same thread to ask me another question. That is what mine was.

It's happened to me a couple of times too. Mine went away by itself both times. If it were a new message on an old thread, it should go to the top of unread messages, you don't want to have to go scrolling through each and every thread to find it. Unread messages was clear both times. Irritating and worrying as it nags away at you thinking a customer somewhere is being ignored. I don't want to get a bad review when I've worked hard to get Star Seller status.

Is yours still there? My most recent one disappeared a day or two ago but I don't know what I did (if anything) to remove it.

It eventually went away it took a couple days but I could never figure out what it was!

I've had them the last 2 days. I went into each category in the shop manager and the number went away.

I have this frequency - it's a message glitch.

I had it for so long it seemed just a normal abnormality. Then a while back it went away. Then it was back for a couple of days recently and it's gone again. If I don't see anything in shop manager I just ignore it.

This is so frustrating to me! Make is simpler Etsy. Show us what you are notifying us about!
