My star seller badge suddenly disappeared when I joined Etsy Payment.

Hello. I needed to join Etsy Payment on 1st of Feb.  Then suddenly my star seller badge disappered.

I am qualifed with the star seller badge.

But in the shop manager, it says I have no orders during the period. I have enough orders and enough amount.

Etsy recognizes that I have perfect 5 star reviews, perfect message response rate and perfect on-time shipping and tracking.

I cannot chat with Etsy support anymore.

I have sent the emails to Etsy and waited for long time, but nobody replied.

I hope Etsy will review my order history.

Did you happen to change your shop currency recently? If so then that may be why. When you change currency it resets the star seller metrics for $ in sales and # of orders minimums to 0.

It is likely just coincidence that your badges disappeared when you enrolled, as the Star Seller is assigned/reassigned on the first of every month. 

Have you downloaded and reviewed all of your statistics to see if there is anything that might explain this?

Thank you so much for your reply! Yes I had to change the currency from JPY to US$. I did not want to change it, but JPY is not eligible for Etsy Payment, so I was forced to change it to US$. So sad. And so unfair. Etsy is so mean to me... But ok, I understand and I will forget about star seller. I am a bit worried because my repeat customers may think something wrong with my shop. Hope not! Thank you so much for your information. The result is not good, but at least I am very happy to see someone is so kind to help me! Thank you again!

star seller is only for the last 3 months, so you should get it back soon

and if you are doing a reasonable amount of sales, it may be back 1st March

I second @WitticismsRus 's post - a currency change causes the star seller metrics to reset.  Your shop has enough volume that it will probably correct itself next month.  For smaller sellers it will take longer to regain SS status, and it's something Etsy really should fix ... although I doubt they see it as a priority : (

Hello! You are my favorite Etsy seller!!!  Now I understand why my star seller badge was removed although I am qualified with it.

So sad. I did not want to change the currency, but JPY is not the eligible currency for Etsy Payment.... Yes, you are right. Etsy is not interested in fixing this issue, because my emails were just ignored... 

I hope my repeat customers do not think something wrong with my shop without badge...

@SweetSuppliesStore, and you are my favorite Etsy seller!  I don't think missing the badge will make any difference at all (you have the best Japanese supplies & best customer service, regardless), and you'll have it back soon.
