My shop is suspended due to identity verification issue

I have just started my shop on 8/13 and it got suspended shortly after saying " your shop has been frozen due to unverified taxpayer information"

I used my SSN when starting and later realized I have not put my middle name as it appears on the card, so I did try to enter it using edit and saving it to the shop information,  then it says "there was an error saving saving your tax information. Please try again". So I have contacted Etsy support but so far no one could solve my issue and they only say to contact my local tax professional for assistance. I am not sure how to go about this because my legal documents and bank info which come under other sections are verified. 

Can anyone here help me  out with the issue please?

A tax official  won't be able to help in this situation.  I just did as you did on all three of my shops  a few days ago and everything went thru fine (I had to add my middle initial to my Etsy accounts). I think it is an Etsy glitch. What I would try is the following: First use a PC or laptop--not a moblie device or app.  If that does not work switch to a different browser, clear your cache;history. keep trying these devices--it is either Etsy OR your device you are using.

If Etsy can't help you I doubt the sellers in the forums can. I would review your email from Etsy again, make sure you didn't miss anything. Make sure your legal documents say "verified". You can also search the forums to see if someone had the same issue and found a solution. Hope this helps.

@Flora4Life  Your Etsy account name and your SS card name do not have to match. Mine don't. I just entered my SSN in the tax payer info box and it went through with no problems.

It is not my account name, but the tax payer information.

I got an EIN years ago and so just entered the EIN with my name without an initial.

Others do the same with their SSN.
