My shop has been suspended for some unknown reason.
I didn't receive any email or other notification before that, I submitted a request for help to Etsy, and 4 days later I still haven't heard back. I'm very anxious!
How can I get Etsy's help and support as soon as possible?
What were you selling?
Digital re-prints of old masters paintings, by the looks it. A pretty fuzzy line there.

I don't think it's because of the goods I sold. My account has arrears. It may be because the arrears have been suspended. After the suspension, I settled the arrears immediately. The problem is that I never get notifications and emails reminding me to settle my balance and my account is suspended.
I have received arrears emails before, and I settled them as soon as I received them, so I never cared about my arrears.
The bill for any money you owe are due the first of the month, I don’t think Etsy sends out reminders.
They have suspended your shop insted of merely halting sales.

When you get the uh oh page when you click on past sales, it's pretty much a done deal - in other words, cooked.
If you have gone into arrears multiple times, Etsy will see you as a risky seller. They may have decided they are done with you.
If you are selling items you did not design or handmake... they don't fit into what can be sold on Etsy.
It's true that I owe a lot of money for advertising this time, but I haven't received any mail since I paid off the debt last time. That's the problem.
unfortunately it is NEVER an "unknown" reason..there is always a reason, just may not be an obvious one. Selling sites do state in their user agreements that they can end any sellers' selling at any time for any reason...
Your page says you’re no longer selling here. For whatever reason, it looks like Etsy is done with you. They frequently don’t respond to messages from sellers who have been removed. I think you’re through on Etsy.
If this is true, it is very frustrating and regrettable indeed, I have spent a lot of time and money on Etsy.
Thank you very much. I have talked with the customer service just now, but I still need to wait for the email notification. The problem has not been solved yet. But thank you for your help and I hope my problem can be solved as soon as possible.

Your shop can be suspended for many reasons - violating the rules by selling counterfeit or prohibited items, shipping too many items late, failing to upload proper tax or ID information.
Check your email for a message explainingwhy.
I don't think it was what you were selling either. If it was just digital files of Old Master paintings, those should be in the public domain. However, there is a chance that a museum that owns a certain painting may claim copyright when it comes to reproductions for commercial purposes — probably because they feature it on their own gift shop items. But I think it's unlikely.
I would put my bet on your past due bills being the issue instead. Since it has been a thing for you multiple times in the past, Etsy may have just decided that they don't need the hassle. I think @Platypus Dream is onto something here. I would only add that unfortunately for us sellers, Etsy now has a surplus of sellers — the number tripled during the pandemic, and out of proportion to growth in buyers. This puts Etsy in a position to be very strict with sellers if they want, because they can easily lose the marginal ones without harming the overall experience of shopping here.
Maybe, but it really annoys me.
Well, whatever the reason she was suspended, it looks like the OP got her shop back. I'm still guessing it was the overdue bills thing.
