I have been trying to make a purchase for two days and my cart will not open. I keep getting the message...
I have dumped my cookies, tried other browsers, and nothing is working. I asked in a group in FB for Etsy sellers and others are having the same problem. It seems to have started when this preview bar showed up on the side of my page showing what was in my cart. Which by the way, is totally obnoxious and I hate!! Please take it away. It is so distracting and way to much visual distraction. As both a buyer and a seller, I hate it!!
How about opening a new browser and try signing in as a guest.. Do not use the app-- open a browser window on whatever device you are on.
The listing I am trying to purchase is from one of my suppliers as a special order. I have already tried another browser.
My cart is not working either. I can't get in the cart to delete items or checkout. Says everytime stitch gone wrong. Cleared cookies, tried new browser, still same result.
I am having the same problem!! I’ve posted in several threads. I’ve been unable to access my cart for days, and really need to complete purchases from my trusted suppliers. I wonder if this is also related to the latest batch of ‘low sales’ comments? Imagine if customers are also unable to make purchases? I can’t imagine why Etsy isn’t giving this more attention?
Same issue here. All of the suggestions have not worked (using different browser, clearing cache, etc).
I was having this problem too. I had lots of items in my cart & saved for later. I tried clearing cache, cookies, and different browsers. Nothing worked.
I just contacted Etsy chat. Put your name & email in. The chat bot will ask what the problem is.
I typed "Can't check out. When clicking on cart icon, a message shows "uh oh a stitch has gone awry"
The chat bot then gave me two options.
*Delete your items in your cart
or
*Move your items to your favorites list
I typed "move items to favorites list". The chat bot did this for me in my account. Now I can access my cart!
