My Shop Was Put on Vacation Mode – No Response from Etsy

Hello Etsy Team & Fellow Sellers,

I need urgent help regarding my Etsy shop. My shop was running well with good sales, but suddenly it was placed on Vacation Mode without any prior warning.

I received an email from Etsy stating that some documents were required for verification. I have already uploaded the requested documents, but it has been two days, and I haven’t received any response from Etsy.

Additionally, the email mentioned that my shop won’t receive any new orders during this time, which is causing a major loss in sales and revenue. I am worried because I have no clarity on when my shop will be reinstated.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue? How long does Etsy usually take to review verification documents? Is there any way to get a faster response from Etsy Support?

Unfortunately, this happened to a lot of sellers (including my shop).  Mine went down Monday morning, I had already uploaded the documents, and it came back online late Wed evening.  From looking over my favorite shops, there were significantly fewer on vacation mode this morning compared to yesterday so it looks like things are slowly getting worked through.  Fingers crossed this is almost over for everyone.

no one here can tell you what the issue is, we can only guess.

Etsy mods come in but they don't offer help with this type of issue but refer you to the specialist team.

However, looking at your shop, I see at least one glaring issue. You mention: Lajarajewels is a brand name for the company we own

okay, but no humans are listed. Etsy requires that each & every person who has involvement with the making of the products offered for sale are listed, individually, with what they do for the business. I see 'we' and yet, no others (not even you) is listed, it makes me very leery as a buyer.

I am a single human doing my shop. I listed myself.

Not sure if this is a reason, but it would be something I would fix immediately. Clarity and transparency are critical for sales online.
