My Response rate is calculating incorrectly.

The response rate is showing that I have two customers I responded to after 24 hours.

There was one message I did not respond to right away. It was not a customer, but someone I was buying from. I didn't think about it affecting my seller rating. Yes, I responded after 24 hours, however this is only supposed to apply when responding to the first message in a thread, which is technically my original message. Also, Since I'm not the seller, it shouldn't affect my rate. The algorithm should not count this. 

The other is just a miscalculation! I almost always respond to customers immediately. I often respond to messages at 3am. I suspect that it counted a subsequent message other than the first. I try to get the last word in, but it's not always practical. If they respond to my thankyou, I don't keep bothering them, just to have the last message. I shouldn't need to. 

The dashboard should show exactly what message is being counted against me.

You have to reply to the first message in every thread, whether buyer or seller,

in future, etsy plans to lump messages from the same buyer together, but this wouldn't help with your situation.

Reply to each message thread, at least once, in time, whoever they are
