So my other Etsy account was suddenly suspended without any prior notification or explanation. I have opened a ticket but it has been a week and no one responded other than the first generic respond asking for verification details. Has anyone had this happen to their account lately and how long did it take for Etsy to resolve your problem? I have been reading across the site that Etsy Support doesn't respond to queries so I am very very scared that my problem could be ignored too! Any help and insights is greatly appreciated!
You need to respond to the generic email Etsy sent you or they will close the matter. Opening new requests will get you nowhere so keep the original email going. If Etsy is asking for verification then you will need to supply it.
I have responded to the generic request with all the requested information and never opened a new ticket. I just kept emailing to the same thread but they never responded. My question is for someone who had the same experience and how long it takes for them to resolve
For those who went through a similar experience, here's an update. My account has been reinstated today, and according to Etsy, it was have faith and be patient. They do eventually reply! No amount of anxiety, calling, or chatting can resolve this problem. Ultimately, the issue will be referred back to be solved via email.
