My Latest 5 Star Review Has Disappeared

I sold a vintage scarf to a customer in October, and, she left a 5 star review.

A few days ago the review disappeared. The customer's e-mail/contact has been changed, since her purchase.

Is there anyway I can "recover" this 5 star review.

It seems that the Buyer closed / deleted their account and removed the review as this is the only way a Review can "disappear" (unless Etsy removes it)

That is why some Sellers, especially with lower volume sales, respond to all reviews to "lock" them in.

Sometimes, people "rethink" leaving digital footprints due to personal reasons and a need for anonominity. Sometimes, people also have unwanted communication from other Shops which use Reviews left in similar Shops to identify Buyers who may be interested in similar items

@pHashIONpassION You did respond? Then the Buyer should not have been able to remove it. She must have requested Etsy remove the review? It is definately not showing now.

Weird as heck. Maybe Etsy received some sort of legal request to remove the review, to do with the buyer, that you'll never be privy to.

That’s strange. If you go to your sold items (the underlined sales on your shop front) open that up and click on the scarf you sold in October, does the review appear under the details when you open that page?
Is the sold scarf still there in your sold items? Not that this explains anything, just curious to know if the sold scarf has disappeared too

No, the review and my reply do not appear.

Only the buyer's email address has changed on the SOLD page.
