My Etsy shop has been suddenly put on pause

Hello everyone,

I noticed that my Etsy shop has been suddenly put on pause, and I didn’t receive any notification or email explaining the reason behind this. I also cannot find a way to turn off vacation mode myself. It appears to have been triggered by the system, not by me.

I tried to contact Etsy support but haven’t been able to get a response yet. I’ve checked my listings and policies, and everything seems to be in order. I'm confused and would really appreciate any advice or if anyone has experienced the same situation — what did you do?

Also, if there’s a way to reach out to Etsy directly or appeal this pause, I would be grateful for any tips.

2 basic things to check....

1. did you turn off selling to EU/EEA countries?
If not, did you enter your GPSR economic operator and all the safety info

2. does all your tax and ID, and bank info all match exactly? - name, address etc

Yay, my vacation mode was turned off today, all my data was fine, it was probably some kind of bug, thanks for responding

Your shop is not on pause / vacation.
If it was I'd see a yellow banner and 0 items for sale.

I see 55 items for sale.
I added an item to my cart and was able to select different payment options.

You have to contact Etsy through the HELP pages.
If you have, then you need to keep replying to that email you get that your "STILL NEED HELP".
It might take days or weeks to get help.
They do not have a phone # or email published anywhere. Any you find are FAKE.

So I just noticed that they turned it off for me, the store was on pause for 3 days.

Etsy turned off vacation mode today, thank you for responding.

@LullabyToysDesign   It is possible your shop was paused if the are you are in is near an area where the Russia has taken over control.  It might have been a temporary issue.

When parts of the Ukraine are in Russia's hands, Etsy has to pause the shops as Russia is a sanctioned country.

I wonder if this was a case where Etsy read the Forums and could easily identify your issue was a mistake. Glad you are back up!
