Must be at least one character

I am getting this error: "Must be at least one character" when I am trying to publish a new listing (copy from already existing template).

I can neither save it as draft! O.O

All necessary fields are filled, I don't get it. Why am I getting this?

Any idea?

Re: Must be at least one character

Is your title right up to the last space on the left?  Here's another post about it:

Solved: must be at least 1 characters - Page 2 - Welcome to the Etsy Community

I vaguely remembered this!

Re: Must be at least one character

You must have a leading space in the title

Re: Must be at least one character

There's no space neither in the beginning nor at the end. Title begins with text and ends with text.

Re: Must be at least one character

Everywhere you typed something in this listing, do this.... put cursor at the first letter of first word(not selecting it, just right in front of it), and hit delete. Somewhere you typed a space before you typed your information. I do this a lot in the personalization box, lol.

Re: Must be at least one character

1) I copied the title from my google docs

2) Went to the listing on Etsy.

3) Ctrl + a in the title

4) Ctrl + v (paste)

5) Nothing changed.

Re: Must be at least one character

Go to the beginning of your text and back space.  That's often the problem.

Re: Must be at least one character

I had to make a copy listing from a different listing of mine. I followed the same steps (checked for spaces on both listings) and when I clicked "publish" it was published this time.

Everything was identical to the first listing I was trying to create. Also no spaces at the variations prices / quantities.

Now it worked :S

Re: Must be at least one character

Is that the only thing you changed in the listing? Nothing anywhere else? It is not just the title that does this. If only the title was done, then I would delete it and try again. I do it in my personalization box because I copy and paste the info from a document and many times my "copy" will pick up a space, or blank line from above. On my listing it looks fine, like nothing extra is there, but there is.

Re: Must be at least one character

I wrote above that I copied / pasted again and there were no spaces before or after, only text.

That is to the title and the variations fields.

Re: Must be at least one character

I don't understand why if you get an error it doesn't say something more helpful. Like if it is the one space thing, how about check title spacing.  Glad you finally got it work though, it's frustrating.
