Multiple vintage item listing renewal issue

I have had problems with these listings before, but not like this. I sell vintage and sometimes make listings with multiple different items. Yesterday I had a sale of an item which had been sold before, and can only think that when the listing was renewed, it reverted back to the original listing (prior to the sale of one of the items). Or perhaps I made a mistake I'm unaware of. Can anyone speak to this issue?

Yes. The listing is two different items and I use variations to show the two items. Apparently when the listing was automatically renewed it didn't account for the previous sale? Or something, I don't know.

I’ve had a couple of “ghost orders” appear just like that.
