Exactly that. I had a customer who bought some items today say that she was about to buy a lamp too, but it sold out. This customer is the only one in my queue for today, so I went to "sold out" listings, and sure enough- a bunch of listings are marked as sold out, but there are no orders for them.
I got onto support chat and they were unhelpful and told me to wait 72 hours. I have NEVER had this happen before. I've had orders marked as "payment pending" but this is different.
It's been several hours and still no orders coming through on these items.
Additional info, there is nothing about all of these sales in my "all activities" list. The total is definitely in the hundreds.

Care to post them? I looked and the most recent I could find was over a year ago. And on all of them I read, there’s no follow up as far as if the orders ever materialized, etc…
Even if it’s a glitch, what do we DO about it? I have a customer wanting to buy a $250 item that says sold out.

Me too. Dashboard says i have several orders, but I can't find any. I do have 2 things marked sold out today, but I don't know if these are the orders or not.

Me. too. Shows items is sold out and customer says she bought the item but I don't show an order. It has been about 8 hours and it still has not come thru!
I have an order and items removed from the shop but no order showing in dashboard or order page.

Making a list of things to check, that we shouldn't need to -
* spam folder for legit messages
* coupons and offers that may be reactivated
* sold out listings that may not be
What else? What next?
Seriously- the glitches are out of control!! I'm exhausted trying to keep up.
* Coupons that at a minimum don't have a stop sending offer button.
Has anyone had the sold out items come thru as an order? I having been waiting more than 24 hours and it still has not show up as an order. I did have a new order this morning so it looks like it only was happening yesterday to one order. Is the buyer being told that it didn't go thru or are they just think the seller is not shipping order??? Is Etsy working on this?? It would be nice to know what is gong on. Etsy support is a joke.
No. Nothing has changed here. Sold orders not showing in Orders and Shipping... revenue shows, and sold shows, but that is all. No way to ship if we don't know who bought what...
Etsy support is SO hard to navigate, and you end up going in a never-ending loop!
I don't believe the buyers are seeing the orders being processed. Part of how this was brought up was because buyers were trying to buy things, didn't get confirmation, so reached out to the sellers asking if they happened to sell out while they were trying to purchase, because they're not seeing the purchase and the items are showing as sold out. Pretty sure support is just telling them to give it a couple days (72 hours) and see if it updates correctly.
No change for me. Items are still showing as sold out with no corresponding orders.
I also am having these glitches! It's quite frustrating when we don't know if there's an order or not. I also cannot deactivate "abandoned cart" emails.
Could this be an Apple issue?

I still have an item that hasn't shown up. Has this resolved for all of you? I did contact customer service and they said to wait for the order to process. Still makes me nervous.
I still have an order which hasn't shown up yet too... one came in this morning, and it is showing fine, but there is still one that I cannot access...!
I had an order on Wednesday which has still not shown up.
Not resolved for me- items still show as sold out with no corresponding orders.
Honestly, if they come through and are showing as late I’ll just cancel them all.
I sell print on demand items, and I see listings being repopulated at the top of the store's front page as well as the back end listing page. However there are no corresponding orders. I hope Etsy fixes this soon or it will be a customer service nightmare.
Update- All of the orders finally showed up as "cancelled" on my completed sales page. They were NOT returned to inventory automatically and when I "restocked" them I had to pay the listing fees. Good times, good times.
