Multiple Design Variations with Print on Demand

I have 3 designs I would like to put onto one listing - the only change between the designs is the pattern of the chosen element (for example, a square filled with 3 different patterns) - rather than 3 separate listings. I am using a print on demand printer. I would like the customer to be able to choose if they would like to personalize with design 1, 2, or 3 and that choice go to the printer.  Is there a way to do this on Etsy?

Thank you NanaLetha, this is great for people who are selling their own crafted items! I actually did this, but then couldn't figure out how to link my Printful products to the variations. Per Cappaccino's reply below, perhaps it's not possible yet.

You can setup a listing, with variations that represent individual listings on your POD, and manually order the choice the customer makes.

If you want it to sync and be an automatic process, then you can't link multiple individual POD listings to 1 etsy listing.

That suxx! they really need to update that and allow the product to link to the variation just like the sizes are linked to variations - obviously their system has the capability. I have actually been trying to get this done for the last week and have been in a chain with like 100 emails from Printful CS (which.. just no comment). 

I'm trying to consider if it would be worth the manual order. I have a zodiac set with approx 340 designs that I wanted to break up into constellations and let them choose from there, like all cancer designs, all leo, all sag, etc. 

I understand the SEO would be better probably to list them all, just seems painstaking for the customer to find what they're looking for that way.. 

Your thoughts?

I was hopeful when I found this, but then . . apparently we just can't yet. However we can maybe both keep an eye out and let the other know when it becomes available. I wonder if there's a way to code it ourselves somehow..? I feel like I've seen POD listings with that option, but maybe they are just manually ordering for the customer per Cappaccino's comment. If I was a dope programming hacker who used my powers for good, I'd update Printful's system lol
