Hello! Please i need help!

I created an account on the etsy.com platform, with the intention of selling products. A customer bought a product of mine, but I got an automated message that I need to build revolut in order to complete the customer's purchase. They then told me that I have to put 300euros minimum, so that the transaction can be done and that it would be confirmed by push notification. When I pressed confirm, the money was removed from the app. This happened twice because I was told that the identification was not done correctly.

if the transaction is pending, contact them NOW if you have not done so already, you have to contact them from within the app, there is no point reading their help pages, they have live contact in the app for instant help.

If a payment is pending then the money has left your account but not reached theirs. If the payment goes from pending to cancelled the money will bounce back to you

Seems you are in luck, I have a notification in my account regarding SEPA and Euro payments

SEPA EURO transfers may be delayed or rejected at the moment.

Seems they are having a issue or glitch and are working on it.

Contact them via your app

* open your revolute app

*home page click on your little image circle (top left)

*click on HELP

this opens a live communication with a Revolute agent.. do not delay! once they have solved the issue your payments may go from pending to complete then you have lost your money and will not get it back!

This is not something that can be solved by Etsy. 

You should contact the app again (especially because the transfer says it's pending) and explain that it is a scam, and you need the transaction to be cancelled. You cannot say that it was unauthorized, because you did authorize it. Make sure they know the owner of that account is portraying themself as someone else in order to scam you.

Seems the SEPA EURO glitch has been sorted in Revolute now, did you mange to speak to them before this to put a stop to your pending payments?

Yes i am in contact with them, but they argue that the cannot do anything, because i did the transfer. Its crazy!

There are robots everywhere and they answer me the same way. While I have proven that I was a victim of fraud, neither revolut nor bunq can cancel the transaction. It 's crazy! The money is still pending! They can be saved

The chances are if it is still pending after this much time it will be cancelled, I have never known it to be pending for more than a few hours.

Also keep contacting revolute, where one may not be able to help to other will

The problem is there are so many verification steps with revolute to make sure you confirm you want to send the payment.

Let's just hope the pending will end in a cancellation

You need to keep contacting revolute within your app until you get someone who can secure your account.

Demand to speak to the security department.

But not by forms or email it has to be the live contact in your app

The matter will be handled by the Cybercrime Service in Greece. I can't find any other solution.

They can do very little in the time, you need revolute to secure your account now

Pending payments usually have a timeframe of 5 or 6 hours after this revolute can stop it but only if you speak with someone in the app.

"You can check the maximum timeframe it can take to release or complete the transaction in the app. Head to transactions and tap on the payment to check its status.

In case the payment is still pending after the date mentioned in the app,  chat to us and we will revert it manually."

sorry to hear that and very surprised that Revolut did not disable the fraudulent receiving account when you spoke with them.

All you can do now is report the receiving account details to revolut again and the cybercrime service in Greece and hope someone manages to close that account down before they do it to someone else.
