Hello, is there any way to contact Etsy other than chat ? My money has been put in reserve  with almost $1000.000. No reason !!  Thank you.

Other sellers have reported USPS not scanning the parcel until AFTER the "ship by" date, causing the late shipping problem. They say that they dropped them off via drop box, or at the post office, and the workers neglected to scan them properly upon drop off. The first scan only shows up days later when it is already in the system.

There solution was to actually watch the postal worker scan the parcels in themselves, so the tracking would update.

I'm trying to find solutions for you. Simply blaming Etsy doesn't help your problem. Hopefully this helps.

you don't have the ships on time with tracking badge, that's normally enough by itself, etsy has about 10 things on their list

refunds - uptick in sales .....

chat will log an e-mail ticket, if you ask

@CraftyCornishMaids  - The OP does have the shipping & reviews badges. But they are missing the messages badge.

It doesn't appear that right now their processing times are long, since I see EDD's of Jan.6-17th. But possibly if they extended them over the holiday, and then received "too many" orders an Etsy bot may have decided to act?

And then yes, the other possibilities that are not visible to us but might be used. Though I find it interesting that there seems to be an uptick in threads on the reserve topic.

Hi, Etsy is wrong about shipping on time over and over. I have never sent a order late or without tracking. Etsy is having money problem and I feel they are doing this as a money grab. II have been here for 14 years and have a few returns and many 5 star reviews.  In January I am up for star seller again. Thanks

Etsy may not recognize the company you ship with. There may be something wrong with the way you enter the tracking number, or how it is entered into the system by the shipping company (number scanned AFTER the "ship by date"). Try to track down exactly what is happening so you can have better metrics.

Consistently shipping late is a trigger for the Payment Reserve.

I have shipped with USPS for since 2014 and I have always sent the tracking number or else I would have alot of angry customers and I would not blame. It is on Etsy. Thanks

Etsy sends their usual email about the payment reserve.

It could be the Pendleton Wool.  Any issues in the past using Pendleton Wool?  Any claims that a buyer thought it was not Pendleton Wool? 

Message badge is missing.  I don't know if that is enough.

If you are using Etsy labels then that works for star seller even if the item doesn't always move to in-transit.  It has nothing to do with delivery btw.  It has to do with the item being shipped.  If you are not using Etsy labels and it says pre-transit or if the tracking number is added after processing time frame Etsy considers the item not shipped.  However you have the shipping badge.

Read the information in Help about Payment reserve.  If you feel you don't meet the reasons for payment reserve, contact Etsy via Contact us and use email or often there is a support button at the end of any article. 

We can only speculate why.
