Hello everyone!
I need your advice. I made a modification to an old article that I didn't sold in order to improve it. I added a piece of a new material-wood.
In that case, it is better to create a new listing and deactivate the previous one or to change, correct the listing with new photos, description, materials,...?
Thank you for your help!
David
I would.
Thank you very much for your answer. So, if I understood right, you would create a new listing? Thank you!
Those lamps are incredible -- what a great idea to use fabric in that way!
And showing the actual garments/fabric used makes it even better.
Thank you very much for your answer and your compliment! Thank you!
@FabricResinTogether If it was an item that did not sell, then you would probably want to create a new listing. What an incredible shop - your About section video showing the different steps is really amazing!
Thank you very much much for your answer and your compliment, feedback about the video. Thank you!
Honestly it doesn't really matter which way you do it.
If you make a new listing you will lose any existing likes/favouites you had on the previous listing. However since that previous listing didn't sell, then it may have a poor search ranking. A fresh new listing will have a neutral ranking.
It it were me, I would probably modify the existing listing (simply because I am lazy and I don't want to enter all the details again). Another idea is to copy the listing, which makes a new one with no search history, then edit the bits you want to change.
Thank you for your answer!
