Very frustrating! Doesn't Etsy care??? Plus trying to connect with Etsy Support is challenging!

@ArtbyNancyLucier If you've tried all the following, is it possible you have an older phone model, and it's just no longer compatible?

Several things to try - follow the app in your phone settings back to the Google store, and see if there is an update. Often - and as recently as last week, what works for me is to go in the Etsy Seller app - Notifications, and toggle them off then back on. Same in your phone app settings. You should check your volume for Notifications on your phone - I had mine turned off once, and assumed because I could hear my ringtone, it was on, not realizing there are different levels for sound.
You could remove the app, then re-load from the Google play store. You can try powering off your phone (I rarely do this), then back on.
If you get notifications for faves or messages, you can ask someone to do that as a test for you - if you get those, you should also get one when you get a sale. I'd be happy to do that, if you let me know! Good luck!
* Also wanted to add - if you happen to still have the old defunct "Sell on Etsy" app (White with orange icon)- remove that from your phone, as I've heard it can interfere with the blue-icon Etsy Seller app that we now have.
I toggled notifications off and then back on. IT WORKED! AM ABLE TO ADVANCE TO STEP 2 IN ADDING LISTINGS. YEA! THANKS!
Well. It did work and let me advance to step 2. But now i want to take photos to add and it wont let me. Wants access to all my photos. Big NO on that! I HATE THIS VERSION OF SELLERS APP! ALWAYS PROBLEMS! MOBILE APP. NEW SAMSUNG. OLD VERSION WORKED PERFECTLY. LIKE THE GOVT. FIXING STUFF THATS NOT BROKEN. UNNECESSARILY OVERTHINKING THINKS. OVERPAID THINKERS.
NOT WPRKING AGAIN. VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. FORCING SELLERS THAT MAKE YOU MONEY USE AN APP LIKE THIS!
I have a new phone and never had any issues for months. Then all of a sudden things stopped working, I gave up trying! One shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get things fixed. It's at Etsy's end to resolve these bug fixes.
I tried doing all of the above and I do have a new iPhone.
Still doesn't work.
I have done all these things listed above but I cannot get past the first spot. I choose a category and it freezes at the ‘next’ button. Sometimes if I turn my phone sideways it will work. Not so now HELP!!
@ArtbyNancyLucier -- what is it specifically you are trying to do? Not everything can be done via the app ... a browser still needs to be used!
The App worked fine for months then all of a sudden it doesn't work.(?) I gave up on trying
The app isnt letting me see my sales tab, payment tab etc. Opens for a split second then kicks me out back to the main page
