Is Etsy ever going to straighten out this issue with messaging? I haven't been able to respond to my customers in over a week now! I'm not spamming anyone! I'm about ready to set up my own website and drop Etsy. I'm tired of etsy trying to control everything. They're interfering with my business!

@Kittyandme @If you are tired of Etsy your own site is a good idea. Sounds great.
Etsy has over 95 million buyers tho. Can't get that reach on a web site unless you spends tons of money on Google Ads.
If they are actual customers, then you will have their direct email in their orders. I would contact them that way.
If they are potential customers asking questions before they buy, then I do not have advice, as that is something only Etsy can help with restoring.
Are these potential buyers? IF so you may not be able to reply because Etsy may have removed their account for scamming.
Do you have any extensions or VPN enabled? Sometimes those items interfere with parts of Etsy.
Don't leave yet for your website. Your cats have me intriqued.

@Kittyandme I sent a question using the Message on a listing. Since I received no reply to it I believe that the Message on listings may not be working. Let me ask throught the other way.
I just tried through the shop home page and same. My message appears to have been sent but you did not receive it.
I have the same problems with messaging. I can't initiate a message with a customer. It seems to go thru, but when I ask about it (using their email--NOT Etsy convos), they say they haven't received anything from me thru Etsy! I have reported this to customer support several times and they "assure" me that my messing is working correctly. 3 years later and I still can't initiate a message with a buyer! Now, this "Make an Offer" thing is having the same problems--people make offers, but yet NOT ONE person follows through? Give me a break! It worked fine a few months ago, and now your accepted offer is not even getting to them.

I tried again with the OP and she has the same issue you are saying is happening to you.
I would contact Etsy through email and tell them it definitely is not working for you or the OP. My message to her appeared to send but I have no reply back so I am sure it did not send.
