Messages to customer Glitch

Every message I am trying to post on my PC, on Etsy's site, to customer's messages, is cutting me off & adding the canned custom order response.

I am unable to erase it & have to open another window & try to paste it in, with it happening again & again with success sometimes!!!

Yesterday it lagged for every message I tried to type tacking several mins for each word to post!!

Etsy changed this to a peer to peer support forum a while ago so it's just us sellers here. If you haven't contacted Etsy support yet then I would encourage you to so that they are aware and can get it fixed. Be sure to take screenshots if you can, that always helps them understand the issue and hopefully resolve it.

You are not the only one. I was writing a lengthy message to a buyer about a custom order today and had lags, jumps, all kinds of issues. Was very frustrating.

I suspect that Etsy combining messages may be contributing to this. I have messages from repeat buyers that go on and on and on and it is very difficult to keep my place.

Have you contacted etsy support about it? They can't get it fixed if they aren't aware of the problem. This is just a peer to peer support forum and admin rarely come here so they may not even be aware of the issue yet.

 Customer service was a joke! She could not understand for over 20 mins & asked me if I was clicking on them! I give up! Wasted time when I could be working on trying to get back all my now gone sales since October.

I had the same issue today as well. The saved responses kept jumping in unexpectedly and there was no way to erase. I had to type out my response in word and paste it so when it happened, I could refresh the page and try again. Frustrating!
