Message Response 

hi hope all is well I am trying to become a star seller and always answer my messages within 24hrs I was in an ongoing conversation with a buyer and had answered all questions then up pops the same buyer on a different message thread asking the same question it came on the Sunday and said it had been asked on the Saturday and of course I answered it but now my message response is saying 88 percent how can this be

All NEW message threads, even if it's a separate one from the same person, must be responded to within 24hrs.

@Deboutton: Have you looked at the appropriate CSV file from your Star Seller page to see which new thread(s) Etsy thinks you did not reply to within 24 hours?

Yes I only became aware after looking at this that it was from the same person I think that it came through twice with one coming on Saturday and then on Sunday but dated Saturday so I could not have possibly answered it as it was delayed I have screenshot the CSV file and both of them were the last conversations on there with the same questions but noticed my speedy replies had gone down so was at a loss what I had done wrong I am relatively new been here about a year so am still trying to work it out looks like I will have to work a bit harder to get it past the 95 needed

I also was counted as not responding when I did through another message same buyer sent. I am sorry to tell you that it has become extremely hard for ETsy to help sellers with these issues. They just do not most times. I just LOST my Star Seller,  since I had several bad reviews that were meant for another seller. I explained to Etsy and proved it was not me. I do not even sell what they showed a picture of....They still would not change it. 

Unfortunately, it appears we sellers are on our own now. Not much help with this company. They do not understand English most times either.

I’m sorry that you have lost your star seller badge through no fault of your own this seems very unfair I’ve been reading through technical issues today and it seems that we are not the only ones that have had this problem apparently if you mark one of the messages as spam this then doesn’t count am going to try this next time and good luck to you too
