I am a fairly new seller on Etsy as I have only been selling here since April. My record for response rate for this month is 95%, however, I have answered every message, as I always have, within a few hours or even minutes. I am certain I have not missed responding to a new potential buyer and my rating should be 100%. This is my second month to achieve star seller status do not want to lose it for something I didn't do.
Two things may be the reason for the incorrect stat.
1. I am one of the many sellers whose every incoming message was tagged as a first contact from a potential buyer and I was assured by customer support that none of these incorrect first contact glitches would count against me.
2. I received a suspicious message, not from Etsy, that had an attachment note saying it was from Etsy staff that I did not click on as instructed in the note, and reported it as spam.
Is there any way I can see which message has been flagged as a non-response and how can I get it fixed?
to see which (if any) messages did not meet the "within 24 hours" criteria, you will want to download your account's message history from Customer Service Stats
• shop dashboard > customer service stats > look for the "message response rate" rectangle (it shows the Current review period by default)
First, click on the "Previous review period" tab, then click the whole "Message Response Rate" rectangle >
Next, at the top of the page, look for a link that says "Download message history". This will give you an excel spreadsheet and show you Yes or No in regards to which messages were replied to within 24 hours.
Thanks
So I cannot open my current stats, right?
Thanks I found it. It was a buyer that asked 2 questions within minutes. One was a general question and one was an "order help request" Yet another rule I was unaware of.
Thanks
glad you found it. happy i could help. have a good day ♥
