I was having a conversation with a potential customer yesterday and the message has completely disappeared. Is this happening to anyone else? Do you know how I can find the message again?
Also, I'm having the jumping cursor issue.
Cheers, Michelle

***Not the skipping cursor issue***
Messages can't be sent and message is erased.
When I hit SEND on messages to customers, the entire message disappears. Have tried to write same message to customer three times and the page clears each time and says No Messages Have Been Sent.
This sounds like a completely different issue than the skipping cursor.
I've not received Messages; some days have used Auto Reply for the very first time (personal). But this is a new one and surely odd.
Hope others jump in if they are experiencing this. I can't even imagine why it would be happening in the first place, sorry.
The jumping cursor issue has been resolved but I still don't know how to retrieve my message that has disappeared? I can see in my gmail an email from etsy saying the the potential customer sent me a message but it has disappeared from the Etsy platform.
They are making updates /changes to the messaging system, and, in typical Etsy fashion, this is not going smoothly. Also, they like to roll out this stuff before long holiday weekends, so expect there to be trouble for several days. Or weeks.
A lady contacted me about donating something to a fund raising event for her friend who has terminal cancer.I checked and it was a genuine request which I am more than happy to donate.I was given the address to send my donations to.The next day the message had disappeared with the address and I now cannot find the message to retrieve the address and feel awful I cannot send my donation as promised.
I bet she was reported and Etsy deleted the messages.
I Spam those type of requests, personally, they are as old as online selling sites.
I found this, it worked for me, I can now see all my old messages from the earlier thread:Hi all, the answer is, go to your messages page, then there is a box that shows 'inbox'. If you click on it you can change it to 'sent' or other options. Choose option 'ALL' and you'll see the archived convos
They will not be deleted from your computer only on the iPads and mobile devices!
