I scheduled my 3 tiered Weekend Sales as normal this week, but instead of choosing "everywhere" for where the sales are valid, I chose "United States and Minor Islands". Since I don't sell overseas any more, this seemed the logical choice. But when the scheduled sales became active on my dashboard, they weren't showing up for customers.
I did double check everything - it was fine on my end. So I left those sales active and put in exact same sales except chose "Everywhere" instead of "United States and Minor Islands". And everything works fine.
Is this a known glitch/technical error on Etsy or am I misunderstanding what all the country selections under "
Where is this offer valid?
You can limit your sale to a specific country." ??
I dislike saying Everywhere when that isn't a valid statement - why make customer disappointed when they go look at the item to only see they really can't buy the item?
I had a look at the Where is this offer valid? list. You would have needed to make two different selections
United States
and
United States Minor Outlying Islands
If you selected United States first and United States Minor Outlying Islands second, the 2nd would have overridden the 1st.

Thanx! I didn't even think it would just be minor islands. That an "Uh- DOH!" on my part and me misunderstanding.
I appreciate the answer!
Just an update. I did try that but I only get to choose one or the other. Can't have multiples there for some reason. For now, I gave up on it trying to figure out a work around.
