Make an Offer

Hello, I selected all the settings in Shop Manager on Etsy.com for Make an Offer ($USD) and I don’t see the button for my customer to select it. Am I missing something? Many thanks.

I believe this is only available for vintage listings. Do you have anything vintage?

I could be wrong, I don't plan to accept offers so not entirely versed on it.

Did you turn it on in each listing you want it on?

@audreytherese  , I think they are rolling it out for all sellers. I saw today that I can use this. It's on my dashboard. I'm not going to use it though.

Sounds like they opened it up. I don't see information about it on my dashboard, so I wasn't aware you could now use it on handmade listings. Either I dismissed anything about it already without a thought, or they're still rolling it out to all shops for all categories. And maybe if they're still in the process of rolling it out there may be some glitches that haven't been worked through yet. Just a thought.

I checked one of your listings and I don't see that option for me to make an offer.Maybe you need to refresh for it to take effect.

OP, be sure you are using a browser on a computer for Make an Offer to work. Check your shop while signed out, then check after signing in.

The "Make offer" option has been available to everyone for quite awhile now, not just vintage sellers.  The fact that some buyers/sellers cannot see this option enacted is discerning, but it's usually visible with viewing your shop in incognito mode (best way to view/test Etsy features).  I did recently get my first "make offer" and it was completely successful, for both buyer and seller.  Wish you all the best of luck and many happy sales with the MO feature.

Congrats on yours working! I set it when we received the first email in Aug. we received another email yest. Still not working for me.

The "make an offer " option is not available in my shop, is it a test?

@Sofiasbijoux  I don't think it is available for EU sellers

While Make an Offer is currently only available to sellers who have their shop currency set to USD, we’ll be sure to let you know once we expand this tool to more sellers.

Not sure if you had applied to all your listings or just some. I clicked on about 6 randomly. It was half and half whether there was a make an offer button or not.

I have it set for a few products I want to clear out. One has sold a few times but no one used it. Could be because it doesn't show in mobile that's the majority of traffic.
