Mailchimp subscription button not working on Pattern website

Anyone else having problems with Mailchimp and Pattern by Etsy website ?

You don't provide much information.  Did it used to work and has stopped working?  Or are you just setting it up?  And define "not working".  

I just subscribed on your site, and it worked fine?

yes it has worked for around 18 months. Now on mailchimp  it says there is a problem

'Your site is not connected. We couldn't find the required mc.js script tag on your site. Please ensure the script is present, the HTML is valid, and try again. ' and telling me to add a code

yes i noticed that thank you so not sure whats going on as over the last few days people tried and it just said on Pattern sorry we cant do that right now. Do you want to stay on the list ?

I have known that Pattern/Mailchimp connection to be flakey from time to time and I've never been able to track down why.

I used Chrome to go to your site and sign up, in case it's a browser thing.  

I seem to recall that reconnecting your site to Mailchimp can cause major issues, so I'd talk to Mailchimp before I did anything like that (in case you were thinking about it).  Unfortunately, that's all the help I have!
