There is a new link in my dashboard that reads:
We’re here to help. You can chat or request a phone call from our team of seller support experts."
So just to test it I clicked the link and absolutely nothing happened. No live link just dead end text. Nothing happens. Standard ETSY practice I suppose. Too bad because SELLER support is very much needed.
Re: your Messages being all messed up. I'm sorry and know it's frustrating for you and everyone involved. Scroll through Technical Issues, you'll see several Threads about this. No Announcement fr. Etsy though
A Seller in this Thread posted that they Chatted to Etsy, who said they were looking into it (9 hrs. ago). So there is no "troubleshooting" to be had in that respect.

Re: Can't Renew Listings. If you haven't, try going through the Listings Page (some Sellers posted they can't do it through their Sold Orders for whatever reason).
You will also see a Thread titled, "Looking for Support?" Check it out. Earlier some had this in their Shop Manager; clicked onto it and it went nowhere (obviously newly rolled out, glitchy like many things. (I didn't have it, but no big deal here).
I hope maybe you can get a Chat Option via Shop Mgr. > Community & Help > Contact Us. Keep scrolling until you come to "I still need help".
Or you could again try the "Help" Page (filter to Seller) > Contact Tab (bottom center of page). Again at bottom Right, under Your Etsy Acct. > Contacting Etsy.
