The following is similar to messages that I have been sending Etsy every day for the past 4 days The only response was a form or canned email that had nothing to do with my issue. I have tried chatting through my second store about my primary store ( I make no money at the second store Sculpture shop ). The chat people are only able to refer the issue to the team .. The team is not getting me any help or info or even an idea as to when help will show up …. and I am so stressed and worried that orders and messages are going unanswered/ and unfulfilled. Prior to this issue I was a top rated seller and have been on Etsy about 7 years … All for nothing now .. I dont even know if I have a shop left … I have been begging someone to help .. I literally cant eat as I cant relax as we all need money to survive and this it for me .. Oh well
I am able to contact this forum as I have second store that I am able to sign into a store that does not sell much at all …. but am happy I have it now which is named SculptureDrawingsArt as i am locked out of my real store Silvercity925 .
This is how it all started
On March 3rd I was unable to sign in as I was not getting the reset password button .. I was lucky then as Etsy responded and told me to get a new email address for Etsy. The agent changed the Original email address to the New Email address.. I will refer to the addresses in the following fashion .. The original stands for the original email address and the new will stand for the new email address that Etsy told me to create. Then The agent put in the new email address to connect to the silvercity925 store because I was not able to sign in
Because the original was not receiving the reset password email. We still were not able to get the reset password to work with the new email address. We eventually were able to get a sign in link and then the password etc... and got in 12 hours and luck later
So we put the phone in private mode and was able to get a sign in link eventually … It was an extended process …..12 hours later ….
Then from March 4 to March 10th or 11th everything was working .. I was able to sign in life was good …
Then all of a sudden around March 11th I get the message from Etsy Security and Trust … that my shop has “limited access”. due to “suspicious activity” which was similar to the March 3rd issue. But then I could not sign in so it was really no access and that is where I am now locked out … The email message says to contact Etsy .. I have tried but they do not respond .. so stressed I have over 3200 products and have been on Etsy for around 7 years .. and a top rated status .. All will be gone cant fulfill orders cant see messages .. so I wil have a ton of negative feedback oh well
Now when I try to sign in with the new email address
It says Invalid address
At this time I was able to click on the reset button but the message was never received at the original email address just like on March 3rd…
But now I am all locked out … Just says to contact etsy … how long does it take Etsy to respond … According to google a minimum of ten days .. I am so stressed and I haven’t eaten ….
Do you think the shop is still there?
Will Etsy eventually contact me and help ?
Or Is it gone ?
Now please remember that Etsy changed my email to a new one … And all my messages from Etsy were going to my new email address from March 4 to March 11.. Then they stopped showing up at the new email address .. They are not going to the old address either.. So I don't get any messages from Etsy now for my silvercity925 shop.
I have been begging for them to
Put my shop in vacation mode No response
Change the connected Address from the Original Email Address to the New Email address since that one was working. No response
I am not able to log in, am not able get help from Etsy and dont even know if the shop is still there
Will Etsy ever get back to me … not a bot , not a canned form , not ai, but someone who can help with fixing it … oh well
Please if anyone can share their knowledge &/or experience ….that would be so appreciated
I did not know if email addresses were allowed so I used the word new vs original to describe the email addresses to distinguish them

A google search for Silvercity925 brings up your shop. It has the Etsy-generated Announcement that says you're currently not selling and clicking your seller profile brings up the ''uh oh does not exist'' page.

I searched for silvercity925 and it says there is no such shop.
It says your shop is not selling on Etsy. I find the details of what you have gone through a bit perplexing. You would initiate the email change, not Etsy. I find it highly suspicious they said to change email. Something is not adding up right here. Are you sure you were talking to Etsy on the phone? Or was this chat initiated by you. Chat is not the best resource for some things.

"On March 3rd I was unable to sign in as I was not getting the reset password button". Why did you need a "Reset Password" button. How did you know you could not sign in? Had you already received an Email Notification that you had to "Reset Password"? .
How / where did you receive the "Reset your Password" Notification?
Was it in Etsy Shop Manager or Etsy Message? Or was it in an Email? I am assuming it was by Email because you could not access your Shop?

It is entirely possible that you have not been communicating with Etsy, but with a "scammer" / "cloned site" mimicking Etsy.
Several things about your issue seem to be "off".
Firstly, the way you were asked to enter a new Password for the Shop
Secondly, the fact that the CSR advised you to enter an netirely new Email for the Shop
Thirdly, the actions of the Customer Service Rep. are not usual. You say you and the CSR could not get the "Reset Password" link to work and then "we put the phone in private mode and was able to get a sign in link eventually ". I have never heard of a CSR asking to people put the phone in "private mode". Is that like logging into your account "Incognito"?
Before going any further and worrying you unnecessarily by speculating about what has happened, it would be best to confirm exactly how and where you received the first "Reset Password" Notification and how you were communicating with the Etsy CSRs.
Resetting Password and Changing Email Address are 2 different things
