Little Lucy’s GB

I am confused as it looks like our message response has dropped because you say that we didn’t reply within 24 hours to Nic. We definitely did. Both myself and my husband have replied to him and sorted out the problem. We are always really quick to respond. Please can you have a look. Thanks!

This is just a forum of other Etsy sellers.  If you want to contact Etsy, you need to go to your Shop Manager, Help, Contact Us.

@LittlelucysGB: Have you checked the applicable CSV file available on your Star Seller page to confirm which new thread(s) Etsy thinks were answered late or not answered at all? Did you reply within the same Message thread?

When you look at the file remember that that the dates / times are in UTC (not your time zone), only the first message of a new incoming thread is included (all that counts for Star Seller), and usually a new incoming thread is not included until after the 24 hour reply window has passed regardless of when you replied. Star Seller stats (and the CSV file) seem to be updated only once per day so there may be an additional day's delay. There is also a link to the actual message thread so you can verify if the data is correct or not.

And as mentioned above, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).

@LittlelucysGB   When you replied were you using the message system?  Did you see the reply?  If not it did not go through and you need to contact Etsy.

If you used the order message system that is not connected to the message system.  A message in the message system needs to be responded to in addition to any message sent in the order area.

You are talking to peers here.  We can only suggest the reason.  You need to contact Etsy if you want them to look at it.
