Hi, is anyone else having issues with the listings function? I cannot get listings to publish. I keep getting an error message. Is anyone else having this issue?
Yes! It's been happening to me for a last few days. I have been trying to relist a sold item and I keep getting an error message. It works fine if I make a copy of the item then list it, but then I lose all my stat information. Hoping it gets fixed shortly.
@KayBejeweled Yes, I can see where you don't want to lose your Stats on a listing (No. of Sales, Favs, etc.) It's nuts that at this late date, people are still having trouble.
Did you try the following...Go to your Sold Orders Page. Select the gear to the Right of the photo. And Renew Sold from there. (I have not done it, but saw in other Threads, where others did this successfully, and I hope it helps you).
Are you using a browser or the app?
I am using both and I am getting the same result. The workaround was to turn the setting to the old template for listings. It's a little frustrating and I am trying to figure out what the issue is.
Yes I am having this same problem. I can't renew a listing with changes when using the new listing form. I have to switch to the old form (and re-do the same changes again) to be able to publish.
I hope this gets fixed quick before the old form is taken offline, or a LOT of listings won't get published.
Using Firefox on Mac OS, I have not tried it in the app or on a mobile browser, I never use that to list.
I've been using the old listing form and it works when I copy a listing.
@CherryTees Yes the old form works fine, both for copying and for renewing with changes. The problem is with the new form.

Yes, this is an ongoing problem without resolve. It does intermittently work. But for me, it's not working more often than it works. I can't believe we are going to be stuck with such a problematic yet necessary program. It's awful!
@NancyQstudio Agree, something as basic as listing. And here we are, one week before the Old Listing Form is trashed. And so many Sellers still having trouble. It doesn't even make sense.
@ChillwolfArt Etsy may be just assuming sellers don't know how to use the form. The new form is a pretty basic one so I doubt this is the case other than a general learning curve. I used to work with tech companies. Never was a none working (and crucial) program released with known problems. It simply is not done. I'm not sure what's going on with Etsy these days?
Don't know if this applies here or to Etsy in general, but there seems to be a trend to 'Code and Fix' (instead of thoroughly testing) in order to get a product out the door or to meet release deadlines.

Well, I am not alone here. Thank you all for your insight. I have more listings that need to go up today. I am just going to start with a blank template this time and see if this helps.
I could not get it to work if I was using a copied item to edit and list or a similar sold item to edit/add new photos to and list. I had to start completely from scratch and then it went.
@TheMalaTheMission I wish I could recall exactly what the problem was, but a while back this happened to me and I was pulling my hair out.
So just now, I went to an expired listing and made some edits. Then clicked to renew with changes. The little pop up window where you click to renew with changes appeared. So I clicked renew. Then another pop up appeared that said: "Leave site? Changes you made may not be saved." And had choice of leave or cancel. So I clicked cancel. Repeated this attempt four times before cancelling from the pop up and going back to the form.
When I was back in the form, I clicked to preview the listing. Then clicked to close the preview window. Then went to renew the listing again and it worked. I did this with two listings.
SOLUTION: So for me the solution seemed to be that after making the changes I had to preview the listing before it would allow me to save it. I hope this might work for some of you.
thanks GroundZero....went through what you mentioned as well...with the cancel or leave site...had a take a nap after trying to list again...

@AnaAndAuroraRegalia I am newly able to publish with a work around. The "Leave" button is saving my listings. But, information is not always saved correctly so the listing does need to be double checked. I am having to re-edit most of the time. The "Publish" button does not work for many sellers. I hope this work around can help you too. Hopefully Etsy can get this program working as it should soon.
I can’t get mine to publish either. Did you ever get yours resolved?
I know this is an older post but I tried to list something today and it gives me a red banner with an error code, I just sent it to Etsy’s help desk.
