Listings not displaying in my shop

I've been having an issue with my listings not showing for customers. About a month ago, a customer contacted me about being unable to purchase a pair of earrings. The listing looked fine in listings manager. It was active and had inventory, but when trying to view it in my shop, it said it was "unavailable". I had to duplicate the listing to get it to work, which breaks all social media post links since that creates a new listing number. The other day, another listing said it was sold out when it wasn't. Since then, I've discovered Etsy is not showing over 200 of my listings. My listings manager says I have 1858. The total items on my shop page says 1666. If you add up the number of listings my shop page says I have in each section it is 1858.  There is nothing that tells me what the missing 202 are.

If I try to view a listing I know is affected, it says, "Sorry, this item is unavailable", but there's a "See item details" button. Click on that, and it brings the listing up correctly.

A friend checked her shop and her totals are off by 1.

On Sunday, I sent notes to Etsy support about it, but have gotten no response as yet.  At the very least, the owe me a refund for listings I've paid for that are not being shown.  I've no idea how long this has been a problem.

@PaintedbyCarol  this was an issue last year, that was related to using Quick edit.  The workaround was to highlight your listings, deactivate, then reactivate.

Let us know if that works for that listing.

So this is a bug and Etsy needs to fix it.  Am I expected to deactivate all 1858 of my listings and reactivate them to magically get this bug to resolve?

Did you try it on that one listing, to see if it works?  If it did, you can do your whole shop at once with bulk edit.

Maybe it's something else, dunno.

Took them several tries, but the listings are back now.  They claim they were 'stuck in vacation mode'. I had a 30 year career as a computer programmer.  They've got a serious programming problem.  

Take my advice - compare the total items in your listings manager and the total items on your home page and make sure they match.

I have this issue and I did the deactivate then reactivate all of my listings and it worked.  However, two days later it is back to the same issue.   Currently you can see 50 of my 244 listings and nothing is in my shop sections.  So frustrating.   Contacted support and they were no help. Any one find any reason why this is happening or a permanent fix?

I’m in the same boat. I have a total of 147 active listings but when I’m on the Etsy app and click view shop only shows 5. And my sales has dropped a ton since this had happened

@Aquariumplants2o9 I'm seeing 86 of your listings on 3 pages.  Did you try the deactivate/activate trick on a browser?

That’s what I just did. I deactivated all of my 147 items and reactivated them. But as of right now it only shows 86 listings

It shows 147 of my listings now. Hopefully it stays that way. I’ve read from other sellers that after 24-48 hours they go away again. So I will post an update at 24 hours and 48 hours as well. Hopefully this works. Fingers crossed

I just went to view my shop and 5 is already missing not even 24 hours later. If anyone has a permanent fix on this issue please let everyone here on this thread know please! I don’t want to deactivate/reactivate everyday just for all of my items to show. Thank you

I just viewed my shop again and not it only shows 12 listings. Just wanted to update everyone that deactivating/reactivating your listing didn’t work.

I can see all of your listings out of interest. If you visit my shop and search for example 'eminem' in the shop search you will see it brings no listings up

Same for me, no wonder sales were down, Etsy support is rubbish, live chat is hopeless and sending an e-mail is pointless. Using the app on my phone I search within my shop by any listing and non appear despite all the listings been active, was only alerted when a potential customer couldn't search for a listing!

Still no resolution for me. Been almost a week now. This is a known issue from other threads that I heave read. No one has an answer. If anyone has a solution to this problem please answer. Thank you

I have had two live chats with etsy as well as a call back. They all experienced the same problem when they tried to do what I advised them what the problem is. They all agreed it was an Etsy problem and it had been given the highest priority via the support team for resolution

I'm having the same problem. Only five of my nine listings are showing as available for sale. At the same time, my sections list the correct number of listings, but if I click on the sections, it doesn't show all of the listings in that category.

I've also tried deactivating and reactivating, but it makes no difference at all.
