In my draft listings, after unchecking the Make an Offer option, I press "save as draft." However, if I then open the draft, it still has Make an offer as a possibility. How long has this glitch been there? And how do I make it stop?

This happened to me too. It was my error. Double check your settings...
To allow buyers to make offers on your listings:
In Shop Manager, go toMarketing.
SelectSales and Discounts.
UnderHelp move your inventory with Make an OfferselectSet up.
Choose if you want buyers to be able to make offers on all of your listings, or if you’d rather select specific listings. If you opt for specific listings, chooseEditto change the listings you accept offers on after your initial selection.
Select the maximum discount you’re willing to consider from buyer offers, or chooseReceive all offers.
It doesn't matter if you follow all the set-up steps exactly - it's been this way for ages, well, since they introduced it. Because of annoying experiences with buyers that never respond or buy(!), I decided to delete the "make an offer" on ALL my listings - and that worked thankfully. It's just not worth the hassle.
Having the same issue - and having to remove it manually from over 500 items......... While the step-by-step instructions are helpful - they won't actually save or correct the listings and "accepting offers" still forces it's way into the listing....... even if I manually choose only ONE item to receive offers, all other items still show "receiving offers"
Very annoying when the tech doesn't work how it's supposed to. We pay a lot of money to etsy to be in their store.
Go to Shop Manager -- Marketing -- Sales & Discounts. Then go to You're Accepting Offers from Buyers -- Edit Settings. There you can make changes to how your Make an Offer is set up, including removing Make an Offer from all your listings. If you click Specific Listings -- Choose Listings, you can add or remove listings from Make an Offer by checking or unchecking the little boxes on the thumbnails.
Why are all of my brand new listings all defaulting to "make an offer" suddenly? How do I turn this off permanently? I just had to fix over 100 listings that all somehow got turned on to "make an offer", what is going on suddenly?
