Vanishes from my listing for customers in the the United States, the shipping charges also go into hiding looking at my listings from the United States.
Me neither….UGH! No Shipping charge listed it’s gone! Oh my gosh… Just brought to my attention from another shop! She almost lost a Sale! Ended up having to ship “Free Shipping”. Great! For over a month nothing but issues. I keep wondering why now at the Holiday time???
I am sure it’s a glitch. Looks like started Thursday, yesterday? I’m sure Etsy has been notified a billion times! Wow! Finally fixed our faves to stay on Public now this! Work on changing one thing and it affects something else. Wow!
I Do not use the App as well. And I doubt a lot of other people do either,,, oh great
I have the same issue with my listings. I am so worried. How can customers buy anything without knowing the shipping costs? This will certainly affect my sales in a most unfortunate way. I hope Etsy will fix this right away.
Do prices of items online have to be displayed by law?
Yes, the law requires that prices for items sold online be clearly displayed:
Price Marking Order 2004
Requires that the selling price, unit price, and any taxes or charges are clearly displayed for goods sold in England, Scotland, and Wales.
Price information
Must be clearly legible, unambiguous, and easily identifiable. It must also be inclusive of VAT and any other taxes.
Location
Pricing information must be close to the goods, or near a description or picture of the goods in the case of online sales.
Other sales
For sales by telephone, price indications must be clearly audible and linked to the transaction.
It is also illegal to give consumers a misleading price. If you are told that an item's price tag or label is incorrect, you can ask the seller to honor the price or refund the difference. You should keep evidence of the mistake, such as a screenshot or photograph.
@thewoollydog it’s also a legal requirement to have a return address on the label, and for customers to receive a full refund, not credit, both of which Etsy is messing around with now!
I’ve bulk edited all my listings to say that I ship from the UK and to ask for help/ shipping quotes etc. hopefully it will help, but I strongly suspect my shop is switched off, no sales in 5 days. Etsy is being very unhelpful , chat requests totally ignored.
Hi, A couple of you asked me specifically, Was I on the App?, NO, I was on my phone, in Safari, on the web. My shipping does NOT show on my Lap Top, I do see mine and Yours (Chillwolf and Witticisms) on my phone on Safari (web). I was going to send ChillWolfart a message in Convos, messages, what ever it is called now, BUT there is NO way to Contact the Seller on your listings. I put your item in my cart, to checkout to see if the Contact option was maybe there. NO, there is NO Prompt to contact the seller (Chillwolf).
@wilshepherd Not sure if you are aware of it, but you can send sellers a DM here on the forums.
Go to the profile of the person you want to message on the Etsy forum. You should see a link or button labeled "message" and if you click that you should be able to compose and send a message.
Yes, I was going mad trying to find out how to contact a seller about a question I had for an item. I know I could go to their store and contact them, but I liked the older feature. So I went to my store and then noticed there were no shipping prices being shown in all my items or anyone else. This is bad. I decided to add a Shop Announcement in my shop after reading this thread. If it catches someone's eye on my home page, it might save a sale. I suggest others do something similar. This is terrible and that cart pop out on my screen is absolute garbage too!!

Etsy is having issues after their last update, if you are viewing from the app you will be able to see shipping prices as usual. If you are viewing it from a PC or within any browser, you will need to add the item to your cart first, then view your cart to see the shipping estimate and options for that item if there are any. This is Sitewide and effecting all Merchant Stores. We hope they fix this soon, sorry for any inconvenience. ~BklynsCornerShop

Ok I’ve just had an answer regarding this from Etsy chat (after 4th try with no response ) it is an experiment! I’ve complained in the strongest terms and they are going to contact the ‘relevant teams’.
No no no Etsy please stop with your experiments until the New Year. Why couldn't they have tried this out in June? I'm not even sure of the legality of it according to the UK law that have been mentioned above.
IF there doing it as an experiment its either for one of two reasons, either there not developing the sales they should be and are now hiding things to hope it generates more sales and people will just check out, or b its so the free shipping is more enticing, which i assume if there still running there buyers paying a subscription thing would intice buyers to buy with free shipping costing etsy zero funds
Either way its illegal in the UK as to the way they've gone about it
An 'experiment'?!? To ascertain what exactly?? See how many buyers request refunds (or is it Etsy credit only) after placing an order where they were charged shipping when there was none listed in the listing?
If this is a test then I would be curious if Etsy is going to comply with UK law and only show the shipping costs on UK shops. What an idiotic test! As a buyer I certainly don't want to be wasting my time adding items to my cart in order to find out if the shipping is reasonable.
Seems as if the person who has added the browse catagories right at the bottom on the right of the listing page may have overlapped the information causing it to be wiped out. Now i know why ive had no sales for the past couple of days, hope they sort this soon, worst time of year for this mistake.
